Devon Interfaith Forum 4 Youth is a dynamic group of young people from diverse religious and ethnic backgrounds committed to coming together for change. Young people from Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, and Bahá’í faiths, as well as those with no specific religious affiliation, gather together to socialise, have fun and learn from each other. Faith & Belief Speakers
The Faith & Belief Speakers Project aims to encourage people in Devon to be more confident to talk about their faith, especially in schools, colleges and other community associations to help them understand the part faith and belief play in life. Read more »
Devon Earth and Faith Network (DEFAN)
Many of our faiths already have action programmes, but we are not acting together at a local level. DEFAN is one attempt to gather people in Devon and to build green synergy for the future. Read more »
Previous projects
“It Matters to Me” DVD, 2010-12
In July 2010, young people from different faiths, beliefs, and cultural backgrounds joined together to learn about each other’s beliefs and to practise presenting their own. One outcome was a DVD featuring 18 of the project participants. Read more »
Attack on Exeter, 2008
In 2008, DFBF bought together senior members of the Exeter Christian and Islamic communities to make a statement about the bomb attack at the Giraffe Café in Princesshay. Read more »
